Duluth Runners Finish in Top 25 of Georgia Marathon/Half Marathon
Who were the fastest local finishers in the March 17 races at Centennial Olympic Park?

Kenyrik Alexis of Grayson was the fastest Gwinnett County runner in the marathon portion of the Publix Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon Sunday, March 17, at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta. Alexis finished 33rd overall in the 26.2-mile race.
Carissa Liebowitz of Suwanee was the fastest Gwinnett woman.
In the other races, Joey Mazzei of Lawrenceville and Beth Presten of Lilburn were the fastest Gwinnett man and woman in the half marathon, and Aaron Martin and Ana Ignjatic, both of Lawrenceville, were top area finishers in the 5-kilometer event.

Several Duluth runners finished in the Top 25 in the three races. They were Peter Oh, Eddy Saldana and Kenneth Lee in the marathon; Dwayne Steed in the half marathon; and Carson Mims, Lauren McCormick and Alicia Stemper in the 5K.
