Duluth Woman Faces Charges in Stabbing Death of Husband

The incident reportedly occurred during an early morning dispute.

A Duluth woman has been arrested and charged in the weekend death of her husband, according to news reports.

Gwinnett County jail records say Veronica Virginia Baptiste has been charged with murder and aggravated assault after her Nov. 1 arrest by the Duluth Police Department.

She is being held in the county jail without bond.

The Gwinnett Daily Post reported Baptiste was charged in connection with the stabbing death of her husband at a Duluth apartment on Plantation Trail Drive around 4 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.

Duluth PD said in a press release Ihsan Grant, 37, died at Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth from wounds suffered during an argument with Baptiste.
