Georgia Connections Academy students & staff celebrate Unity Day

Georgia Connections Academy staff members and students from across state of Georgia wore orange on Oct. 22 to celebrate Unity Day.

On Wednesday, October 22, students and faculty of Georgia Connections Academy celebrated Unity Day, a day celebrated to stand up and against bullying. Faculty and students all wore orange in a symbol of unity to take a stand to bullying. Georgia Connections Academy, a free virtual public charter school open to students from every county of the state, had their students send in pictures of them wearing orange to show that they were serious about putting an end to bullying.

Each year more than 3.2 million students are victim to bullying. Join Georgia Connections Academy in taking a stand! Visit http://www.GeorgiaConnectionsAcademy.com for more information on the school
