Here are the top three stories in Duluth today:
- Gwinnett County police need the public's help to identify a thief who stole more than $40K in jewelry. The man stole from Diamond Ring Company, Jewelry Box Outlet, and Helzberg Diamonds. He is described as a white male between 30-40 years old, weighing between 180-200lbs. (WSB Atlanta)
- Jackson EMC Foundation awarded $35K in grants to agencies serving Gwinnett County residents. The grants are made possible by the 204,791 participating cooperative members who have rounded up their monthly electric bills through the Operation Round Up program. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
- The Duluth Farmers & Artisan Market will return this Saturday, Jan. 9 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Duluth Town Green. This month's entertainment will include live music by Brandon Crocker, visits with Olaf, free crafts kits, and an ice sculpture. (City of Duluth)
