Happy Wednesday, people of Duluth! Here's everything you need to know going on in town today.

Here are the top stories in Duluth today:

  1. Gwinnett Cares, in partnership with the Gwinnett-Rockdale-Newton Health Department, is going to host another virtual healthcare summit today on Facebook Live and Zoom in order to address COVID-19 booster shots and vaccine confidence. They are holding the summit to educate the community on how to coexist with the virus, and now how to build immunity to it. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
  2. Following the cancellation of Atlanta Pride, Gwinnett Pride is also going to be rescheduled to later date due to rising COVID-19 cases. The new date of the event is unknown despite the elevated need for events such as Pride. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
  3. The Gwinnett Chamber has been chosen to pilot the new Delta SkyBonus Program to compliment all SkyMiles accounts with more perks and rewards. Gwinnett County is the only Chamber of Commerce in the southeast that is enrolled in the new program. (metroatlantaceo.com)
  4. Duluth-based Eclipse Gaming has recently launched its new adventure called Launch into Learning. The software company has pledged to fill 500 backpacks with supplies to distribute to students across Gwinnett County and across the country. (Bakersfield)
  5. Good Word Brewing has made headlines over at Adventures in Atlanta with its Brunch Edition of restaurant reviews.
