Good morning, Duluth! Here's everything you need to know to get this Wednesday started off right.

First, today's weather:

Cloudy. High: 57 Low: 50.

Here are the top 3 stories in Duluth today:

  1. Sheree "Ree" Bethea, a barber in Duluth, has made headlines by turning a haircut into a game for a 6-year-old with autism. Dr. LaQuista Erinna posted a video on social media with a caption reading, "My son's barber is heaven-sent," praising "Ree the Barber" for her patience, kindness, and professionalism during her son's haircut appointment. Erinna said she set up a GoFundMe to help support Bethea "so she can continue working with kids, especially those with special needs." (Upworthy.com)
  2. Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is offering a digital learning option for students K-12 through Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC). This is the first time GCPS is opening the GOC program to K-3 students. Registration is open from Feb. 1st to the 28th for the 2022-23 school year. (Press Release Desk)
  3. In an ongoing partnership with the Gwinnett Health Department and other partners, Gwinnett County Public Schools will continue to host vaccination clinics at high schools around the county during February. No appointment is necessary, and the Pfizer vaccine and booster shots are available. Children ages 5 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (Press Release Desk)
