Hit-And-Run Suspect Arrested After Duluth Crash Injures Motorcyclist
Police say they have arrested the person accused in a hit-and-run that critically injured a motorcyclist in Duluth.
DULUTH, GA — Police say they have arrested a man accused in a hit-and-run that critically injured a motorcyclist recently at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
Duluth Police on Monday said they have arrested Patrick Rudolph, 34, in connection with the crash that occurred around 2:45 a.m. Friday at Peachtree Industrial near Longlake Drive.
The motorcyclist, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said.

Investigators used citywide camera footage to track Rudolph's vehicle, which police identified as a Honda Civic, to a nearby apartment complex. Police said they have impounded the Civic for forensic processing.
While at the complex, police said Rudolph approached officers and they were able to match him to the person seen in the video footage.

Rudolph was arrested on charges of hit and run resulting in serious injury or death, reckless driving and driving while license suspended, police said.
He was taken to the Gwinnett County Jail, where jail records showed he was being held without bond on the hit and run charge. Rudolph was granted a $7,550 combined bond on the remaining two charges, jail records showed.
