Duluth Police are calling the attack an isolated incident. In answering the question of a resident who was concerned about safety at bus stops in the area, the department posted this on its Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon:

“The suspects are still at large, however, we have no reason to believe that they will be back to that neighborhood or that children getting off of the buses in any neighborhood will be in any danger. We would inform our citizens if we had specific information about an individual or any group of individuals who might be in danger. Thank you for your concern. We will try to keep everyone informed with as much information as we can put out without compromising our investigation.”
