In the middle of a worldwide tour, Skid Row returns to Wild Bill’s, 2075 Market Street, on Saturday, September 27. General admission tickets cost $20 in advance and $25-$30 at the door; VIP tickets cost $55 each. Acts Kickin Valentina and The Swear open the show. The doors at Wild Bill’s open at 7:30 p.m., the concert begins around 9 p.m., and the dance party will continue after the concert until 2:30 a.m. Wild Bill’s boasts plenty of available free parking, and “close-in” VIP parking, which costs $5 per car. All shows are 18 and up. For advanced tickets, visit www.ticketmaster.com.

Skid Row—Johnny Solinger (vocals), Scotti Hill (guitar), Rachel Bolan (bass), Snake Sabo (guitar) and Rob Hammersmith (drums)—annually schedules a tour stop at Wild Bill’s as a sort of homecoming show for the two band members who live in Atlanta (Bolan and Hammersmith). This year, the band visits Wild Bill’s in support of their new seven-song EP Rise of the Damnation Army – United World Rebellion: Chapter Two. Fresh from a variety of dates in Europe in June, including a stop in Kostrzyn, Poland, where they headlined one of the biggest festivals in Europe, the Woodstock Festival Poland, the Wild Bill’s stop is the last date on the East Coast before the band heads back out to Europe in October. The remainder of 2014 will see the band visit the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and France.

At the Wild Bill’s show, audiences are invited to rock out to such hits as “18 & Life”, “I Remember You” and “Youth Gone Wild”, as well as some new material off of United World Rebellion: Chapter One released last year and Rise of the Damnation Army – United World Rebellion: Chapter Two, released last month via Megaforce Records.

Of the show, Bolan says, “There will be the high intensity that fans have come to expect from a Skid Row set. Recording new material has given us a renewal of passion that translates to the stage at every show we do, be it a festival of 500,000 or a club of 5,000. We are excited to bring that fire back to Wild Bill’s this month!”

Wild Bill’s General Manager Tom Siliven notes, “The best thing about Wild Bill’s is that there is not a bad seat in the house. Whether you sit at the tables, in the VIP section or stand on the general admission floor, you get to experience our new Bose speaker system, which will blow you away!”
