There, they met a victim who told them that the driver of a black passenger car pulled up next to him in a parking lot, got out and asked for directions.

At the same time, another man was getting out of the passenger car. The driver then pointed a firearm at the victim and told him to empty his pockets.

They stole the victim's cellphone and wallet, then got back in their car and headed toward Interstate 85.

Fortunately, the victim was able to read their license plate number. He gave it to a 911 dispatcher, who shared it with officers via police radio.

A short time later, an officer spotted the car near Pleasant Hill Road and I-85 southbound. Officers conducted a felony stop on the interstate, between Pleasant Hill and Steve Reynolds Boulevard and all three suspects were handcuffed.

Cook was in possession of a firearm and another gun was found in the glove compartment, with multiple scratch marks over its serial number. It was later linked to a lost-gun report that was filed in March.

The suspects are being held in Gwinnett County Jail.
