UGA's Vince Dooley To Host Workshop For Veterans

The event, sponsored by Gwinnett County Public Library, will be at Saint Leo University.

DULUTH, GA — Legendary University of Georgia football coach Vince Dooley will host a workshop and luncheon for military veterans and their families on Friday, October 22.

The event, sponsored by Gwinnett County Public Library, will be held at Saint Leo University in Duluth.

Dooley, himself a U.S. Marine, will welcome veterans and their guests for what's being billed as a "celebration of service."

Guest can attend a variety of breakout sessions dedicated to topic including connecting veterans to the resources they need, interview and resume' coaching, healthcare assistance, job search assistance and continuing education opportunities.

Agencies partnering on the event include the Gwinnett Veterans Resource Center, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Georgia Department of Labor and All Pro Interviews.

The event is free and open to all veterans and their guests.
