Wild Chase: Burglars Chuck Chainsaws at Police

Must-see video: Duluth Police chase was captured on a dash cam.

Two suspected hardware-store burglars tried to get creative in getting away from Duluth Police recently.

They threw chainsaws they had just stolen at police during the chase, which was captured on a patrol car’s dash cam.

Duluth Police released the video to WSB-TV, which posted it Thursday.

The TV station reported the two were wanted for breaking into the Howard Brothers hardware store in Duluth, where they reportedly stole 15 chainsaws.The video shows one of the suspects throwing some of the chainsaws out the back of a white minivan and the patrol car swerving out of the way (around 1 minute, 15 seconds into the video). They eventually stopped and ran from the van.

Police were still looking for the suspects.
