Burglars Drive Car Through Sports Store: Police

DeKalb County Police say thieves drove a stolen car into a business, breaking down doors to gain entry.

Burglars drove a stolen car through the front of Hibbett Sports in the Belvedere Plaza shopping center early Monday to gain access to the store’s inventory.

A stolen 2015 Acura was driven into the front of the store to damage the burglar screens and gain entry, DeKalb police Capt. S.R. Fore told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Acura’s driver and three other suspects from a second black sedan parked in the parking lot then ran into the store, police said.
