Catalytic Converter Thefts on Rise in Dunwoody
Police are asking residents to be extra vigilant.

Dunwoody police say there has been a recent increase in catalytic converter thefts in some residential communities.
“This week the Ashford Dunwoody Road/Perimeter Center East residential communities have sustained an increase of catalytic converter thefts from Honda-made vehicles (CRV’s/Elements),” said Officer Trey Nelson in a Facebook posting.”
He wrote the thefts are happening overnight in several apartment complex parking lots.

“One incident described the suspect(s) leaving the scene in a silver in color Toyota,” he said.
Police are asking people to be extra vigilant in noticing and reporting any suspicious behavior.
