DeKalb Hotel Evacuated Due to Suspicious Package

Atlanta GA -- A Holiday Inn on Chamblee Dunwoody Road was evacuated Friday because of a suspicious package.

Police told Channel 2 that a piece of luggage was left in the hotel’s parking lot. The DeKalb County bomb squad tested the luggage, and found no evidence it was an explosive device.

Brookhaven police was also on the scene.

The hotel is located at 4386 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
