Dunwoody police arrest several in prostitution sting

Local police worked with federal officials in the operation.

Seven people were arrested in early September and charged with prostitution in an undercover operation conducted by Dunwoody police and several other law enforcement agencies.

Three others were arrested for pimping and one person for escorting without a permit.

Dunwoody police worked with the FBI’s metro Atlanta Child Exploitation Task Force and the Gwinnett’s Vice Unit to conduct the operation at a Dunwoody hotel, according to a department spokesman.
