Dunwoody Police Make Arrest in Mail Thefts
The suspect is also believed to be involved with similar crimes in Brookhaven and Sandy Springs.

Dunwoody police have arrested an individual believed to have been responsible for several mail thefts not only in Dunwoody, but also Brookhaven and Sandy Springs.
According to department’s Facebook page, police responded to reports of a suspicious person in the Roberts Drive and Aurora Court neighborhood, who was spotted looking into mailboxes and vehicles.
“Officers ... located the suspect’s vehicle abandoned,” the posting said. “The suspect was later located off Spalding Drive and found to have been committing mail thefts throughout the morning in Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, and Brookhaven.”

Police credit the suspect’s arrest to a nearby resident who saw something suspicious and called 9-1-1.
