Police Ask for Public's Help to Identify Shooting Victim

DeKalb County Police say they have little to go on as they investigate a shooting death on Allgood Road.

Investigators said a neighbor called 911 about 1:30 p.m. after hearing shots, but thought the noise may have been fireworks, WSB TV reports.

A police officer found a young man’s body in the driveway of an abandoned home in the 1200 block of Allgood.

Detectives have few clues in the crime, and don’t know the name of the victim, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Investigators went door-to-door Tuesday afternoon gathering information.
