Police Investigating Pedestrian Struck by Car

Dunwoody police are investigating an incident yesterday afternoon in which a pedestrian was struck by a car.

In a statement issued earlier today, police say the person was hit by a 2006 Toyota Avalon that was turning onto Chamblee Dunwoody Road from Dunwoody Park. The unidentified victim was crossing Chamblee Dunwoody at Old Springhouse Lane and was taken to a medical facility for injuries.

Police are looking for anyone who may have seen the incident, which occurred around 4 pm.
