Police Nab Bank Robbery Suspect

DUNWOODY, GA -- Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing the PNC Bank last month.

John Alan Francis is currently in the DeKalb County jail, facing armed robbery charges.

Police say they saw a man fitting the suspect's description on Ashford Dunwoody Road last week and positively identified him from surveillance images and video taken from the robbery.

The robbery took place on March 22, when a man entered the PNC bank located at 125 Perimeter Center West, brandished a large black handgun and demanded cash from the teller. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
