The seven puppies all have microchips and have been reported as stolen.

Dunwoody GA -- A total of seven puppies -- valued at between $1,500 and $6,000 -- were stolen early Sunday morning from Petland Dunwoody.
The puppies ranged between eight to 12 weeks old, according to Reporter Newspapers.

The breeds stolen were a Boston terrier, a cocker spaniel, a whocker, a bull terrier and shih tzo.
Also stolen was a dog bed. The store manager believes the dogs -- all of whom have an embedded microchip which has been activated as stolen -- may have been taken to give as gifts.
