Stockbridge Man Arrested On Drug, Gun Charges In Dunwoody
According to authorities, Rashon Ventrel Lewis, 31, of Stockbridge, was wanted by multiple agencies on various drug and gun charges.
DUNWOODY, GA — A Stockbridge man who police say caused a brief lockdown at Dunwoody High School in August after running away during a traffic stop was arrested Wednesday.
Rashon Ventrel Lewis, 31, left behind a significant amount of drugs and a gun at the scene after the Dunwoody Police Department pulled him over on Aug. 23, according to police.
Lewis was in the area of Dunwoody High when he ran away, police said.

Police said he was wanted by other agencies on multiple gun and drug charges. Lewis was arrested during a traffic stop in a multi-agency investigation, police said.
Jail records show Lewis is facing eight charges relating to the Aug. 23 traffic stop, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or first offender probationer and possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute.
