Thief Stole $8K in Ray Bans at Perimeter Mall: Police

The Dunwoody police have released surveillance photos of man wanted in four thefts at Sunglass Hut.

DUNWOODY, GA — The Dunwoody police are asking for tips from the public that will lead them to a man suspected of stealing about $8,200 worth of Ray-Ban sunglasses from a store at Perimeter Mall.

The police released surveillance photos Wednesday of the individual, who is suspected of stealing about $1,200 worth of Ray-Bans on Sept. 26 from the Sunglass Hut at Perimeter Mall. The same individual also stole sunglasses from the same store on Oct. 3, Oct. 8 and Oct. 27 with a combined value of $8,205 from all four incidents, the police said.

The suspect is described by police as a black man, 18 to 22 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall. He weighs 165 to 175 pounds and has piercings in both ears.
