Tires Stolen From Cars in Dunwoody Village Apartments

Residents are asking for better security measures.

DUNWOODY, GA -- Residents of Dunwoody Village Apartments woke up Friday morning to find some of their cars up on blocks after thieves stole their tires.

Residents are now asking for better security, reports Channel 2 Action News. But a Dunwoody Village employee said the complex's gates are locked and monitored by security guards.

Police are investigating the thefts.

Two residents who own Hondas were among the victims. The Honda Civic and Accord, according to national crime statistics, are among the most stolen vehicles in the nation.
