Vigil Held for Slain Dunwoody Man

A vigil was held Tuesday night to remember a man found dead in his Dunwoody apartment.

The body of Ja’Ron Acklin, 24, was found Friday morning by a maintenance worker at Barclay at Dunwoody Apartments.

A family member told Channel 2 Action News they believe Ackin was murdered because the father of two was found with his hands tied behind his back.

More than 100 family and friends gathered in Decatur on Tuesday to remember Acklin.

Dunwoody police are calling the death suspicious.
