Woman Stabbed, Killed At Dunwoody Apartments: Police

DUNWOODY, GA — A woman is dead after a stabbing Tuesday at The Point at Perimeter Apartments near Ashford Gables Drive, according to the Dunwoody Police Department.

Officers were called around 1:30 p.m. to do a welfare check in the home. The 38-year-old woman called a family member and told the person her brother stabbed her, then police were notified, authorities said.

The woman died at the scene, police said.

A 36-year-old man was taken into custody after a brief chase, police said.

Authorities have not released identities of the woman or the suspect.
