Alpha Kappa Alpha member and Spelman College graduate, Lori Beard-Daily, will discuss her latest novel, Destination D, which is about three women who become friends during their days at Spelman College and make a promise to each other that they fully intend to keep. However, life steps in and the promise gets broken. Ultimately, the series of events leaves each of the women to grapple with the life-altering choices they have made as their decisions lead them down unpredictable paths in both their personal lives and professional careers.
