This play is way more meaningful than Hallmark, more rock-n-roll than church, and loads of fun. You know how Mary and Joseph found themselves in a pickle, unplanned pregnancy and all? Well, (cue the Elvis music) Mary and Joseph were…. Caught In A Trap, Can’t Walk Out, Because I Love You Too Much, Baby!
Big Mike Geier (of Kingsized fame) will be singing Elvis tunes, the church choir will sing favorite carols (feel free to sing along), and the Good Moves dancers will entertain, and it will all be narrated by the tough-guy Angel Gabriel. Come and experience Christmas in a totally unexpected way!
Parents, if your kids would like to be part of the “spontaneous” nativity scene at the end of the performance, please arrive at least half an hour early for instructions. Also, we suggest you bring your child already dressed as a shepherd, wise man or angel. We’ll have a limited supply of costumes available at the church. If you do want to participate, please let us know in advance by emailing our Theresa Wolf, our fab Youth Minister.
