In recognition of Women’s History Month, and in collaboration with The Write Life Media Group, the Auburn Avenue Research Library will host a special screening of the documentary, Behind the Mask. Created by Marquita Gooch, the film is a call to the already bustling discussions about black women; the power they possess; and how they are seen by themselves and others. It is anticipated that viewers will experience a greater sense of power, accomplishment, and spirit that is part of the essence of being a black woman.
