The mission of the Grant Park Farmers Market is to create a vibrant and healthy community space while providing access to - and education about - nutritious food and wellness.
The Grant Park Farmers Market will achieve its mission by:
- Increasing access to healthy local food
- Providing programming to meet the desires of the community, especially as it relates to youth and community development
- Creating a platform for local farmers, food producers, charity groups, artists, and musicians to market their goods and services
- Providing a space for community members to come together and share experiences and build community pride
- Strengthening of the safety and viability of the oldest park in Atlanta and the surrounding neighborhood
- ProductsLocally grown vegetables and fruits
The market will offer artisan produced breads, cheeses, and other delicacies. Also on display will be art, community groups, education, fun for all ages.
