Legacy of Light is a smart, time-traveling adventure about two scientists in different centuries pushing the boundaries of science while grappling with the challenges of parenting. The play is by a native Atlantan, Karen Zacarías, now playwright-in-residence at Washington, DC’s Arena Stage and mother of three. Like many, she struggles to balance the dual passions in her life, her vocation and her family. Which will leave the greatest legacy? Which is most important right now?
