The Auburn Avenue Research Library will host journalist and author, Cameron McWhirter, who will discuss his latest publication, Red Summer: The Summer of 1919 and the Awakening of Black America, a narrative that chronicles the unprecedented wave of anti-black riots in the South, North and Midwest areas of the United States from April to November of 1919.
