Man Charged In Killing Of Man Found In Atlanta Vacant Home

The man was running away when he was shot and killed by the homeowner, police told Channel 2 Action News.

ATLANTA, GA — A man is dead and another is charged in connection with his killing after a shooting around 6 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Campbell Street, Atlanta Police said.

Channel 2 Action News reported the man was shot and killed by the owner of the vacant home as he was running away. The outlet reported the homeowner was not living in the house at the time of the shooting.

Joshua Warren, 40, is charged on suspicion of aggravated assault, felony murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, police said. He was taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
