U.S. Sen. Isakson Receives Proclamation From Cobb County

COBB COUNTY, GA — The Cobb County Board of Commissioners honored U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson with a proclamation Tuesday, announced officials. He has given more than four decades of service to the state of Georgia and the nation.

In December 2016, the roadway commonly known as the Johnson Ferry Bridge was officially named “U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson Bridge” in honor of the senator’s career in public service.

Isakson holds the distinction of being the only Georgian ever to have been elected to the state House, state Senate, U.S. House and U.S. Senate and is an example of a true leader and patriot, according to Cobb County to officials.

"Sen. Isakson has always been a friend to Cobb County," they said.
