The Hall County Master Gardeners are holding a free and open-to-the-public Seed Swap event at the UGA Hall County Extension Office, 734 E. Crescent Drive, Gainesville , GA. Interested people of all ages are invited to bring seeds they have collected for the swap. Are you seedless? No problem--you are welcome to come and choose from a wide variety of flower and vegetable seeds for your own garden. Some are gathered by Master Gardeners from their own crops, and others are donated by seed companies. Master Gardeners will be on hand to share tips on planting, germination, and growing. Loose Leash Walking Group Training Coming to Gainesville on April 25
Gainesville, GA – Dog owners struggling with leash pulling can get hands-on help at an upcoming Loose Leash Walking Group Training scheduled for April 25, 2026.
This small group session is designed to help dogs and their owners build better walking habits through practical, real-world training. Participants will learn techniques to reduce pulling, improve leash manners, and create a more relaxed walking experience.
