Foxfire at the History Center! | Saturday, May 9th 10am to 3pm
In Collaboration with the Foxfire Village Museum & Mercantile of Rabun County, GA
The Foxfire Museum will be in residence at the History Center, bringing their artisans and history to share in Gainesville. Learn about blacksmithing, woodcarving, flintknapping, and more! We are delighted to have Foxfire join us and talk about their mission to preserve the culture and arts of the Appalachian Mountains. If you've ever wanted to experience Foxfire but couldn't make the trip up to Rabun County, now you have the opportunity to see them right here in Gainesville!
A portion of the proceeds from this event will support The Foxfire Village Museum & Mercantile in Rabun County, GA.
