GA Inmate Faces 400 New Charges In Child Sexual Exploitation Probe

Authorities say they found about 400 images/videos showing a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct while searching the man's devices.

GAINESVILLE, GA — A Hall County inmate is facing 400 new counts of child sexual exploitation, authorities said Tuesday.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office said Benjamin Larmar Gudmundson, 32, is facing the additional charges in connection with an ongoing child sexual abuse material investigation.

He had been in custody since May 20, 2025, when investigators served a search warrant at his home, authorities said. Several electronic warrants were seized, and Gudmundson was arrested on 20 counts of sexual exploitation of children, authorities aid.
