THE BOXTROLLS Innovator Award

Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology senior Samuel Zinga received "The Boxtrolls" Innovator Award on Tuesday Sept. 23rd.

Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology senior Samuel Zinga received “The Boxtrolls” Innovator Award on the morning of Tuesday, September 23 in front of 500 students with his family, faculty, and staff also attending. Focus Features presented the $1,500 scholarship to Samuel ahead of the nationwide release of “The Boxtrolls” on Friday, September 26. GSMST faculty and administrators selected Samuel for the award based on his creativity, inventiveness and dedication to the school and his community. Samuel’s passion for helping others within the school mimics “The Boxtrolls” fearless boy-leader, Eggs, as he ventures above ground to save his troll friends.
