Parkview Beats Brookwood 21-14

Carson scores two touchdowns as Parkview wins the annual "Battle of Five-Forks Trickum."

Chris Carson rushed for two touchdowns, including a 73-yarder on his second carry, as Parkview beat Brookwood 21-14 Friday night at the Big Orange Jungle in Lilburn.

Carson, who had 110 yards in the first quarter, finished with 255 yards on 27 carries and was nearly unstoppable as Parkview used a variety of formations to keep Brookwood's defense on its heels.

Quarterback Mac Marshall added a 95-yard touchdown run on a quarterback bootleg and the Parkview defense stiffened in the final minutes to put the Panthers (4-1, 3-0) firmly in first place in the Region 8-AAAAAA standings.
