Preserve Our History
Help Save the Goodwin / Bentley Cemetery
For decades, an endangered piece of Gwinnett County history has stood silently on the 3200 block of
Duluth Highway. Known locally as Goodwin Cemetery and officially recorded as Bentley Cemetery, it
has no official name, owner or sign. It is currently abandoned, overgrown, and deeply in need of our care.
We cannot let these pioneers and their stories be forgotten.
The William Day Chapter, (NSDAR) invites you to a critical community meeting to discuss the
preservation, restoration, and ongoing support of this sacred landmark. Together, we can honor and
reclaim this vital piece of Gwinnett County heritage.
