The project partners say it will boost sustainability, reliability, and long-term competitiveness for Jesup's manufacturing site while using forestry residues sourced from the surrounding region.

The $650 million project will use forestry residues from the region and has already secured substantial financing, signaling long-term industrial and energy investment tied directly to Jesup's economy.
