40+ Trees Brought Down By Hurricane Irma In Johns Creek
While the city did not sustain any major damage, crews are working to ensure the roadways are safe for travel.
JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The city of Johns Creek continues to remind residents to be alert and drive with care if they plan to get out on the roads in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Irma moving through Georgia. More than 40 trees were reported down Tuesday morning throughout the city, including a number of low hanging power lines, it said.
While roads are open, drivers should note they contain "debris that need to be fully removed, which will take some some as crews move from one site to the next," Johns Creek said Tuesday.
"Please stay clear of all power lines and report any that are low hanging or on the ground," the city said on its Facebook page.
