In North Fulton, the early voting period between May 30 and June 16 saw a record 72,302 votes cast in the hotly contested runoff, according to numbers provided by Fulton County. The county also sent out 13,921 mail-in ballots and received 8,539 of those ballots from those voters before early voting ended. Across the 6th District, 140,308 early ballots — 114,537 advance in-person ballots and 25,771 mailed-in absentee ballots — were cast in the runoff, the office of Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp said.

As a reminder, the county has changed 12 polling locations across north Fulton due to "unforeseen circumstances." As such, Richard Barron, director of the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections, encourages residents to double check their polling places before they head out to cast their ballots.
