Sweet YIP is a Lab/Hound/Boxer mix girl who is just 16 weeks old, and weighs 20 pounds. YIP is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on her vetting and vaccinations, has been dewormed and is very close to being completely house-trained and is more than ready to find her forever home and family!
Sweet YIP is a very smart girl, and learns very quickly! She is trained to stay in her crate and is a very good girl when inside her crate, plays quietly inside, and often sleeping completely through the night in her little "den".
This pup is great with other dogs, is very playful, and is great with all humans - adults and kids of all ages. We aren't sure how she'd be around cats, as there are none in her current foster home, but knowing how playful she is, YIP would probably bark as though to say to the kitty, "come on, let's play chase!"
Precious YIP and her siblings were found as strays inside an outside drain - very sick, emaciated and infested with parasites. Little YIP was the sickest of her litter and almost died before she had a chance to truly live! A good Samaritan took them all in and found them homes, except YIP. She was the last one left of the puppies and so the good Samaritan turned to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue to see if they could help find the right home for this darling little girl.
At the time YIP became an "Angel" pup, she also had a broken tail and ulcers inside her mouth. But thanks to great vet care, and a loving foster, little YIP soon got over all her medical issues, and is now a healthy, happy, fun-loving girl who just wants to play, play, play all day!
She is a great puppy, with lots of personality and a set of the most gorgeous eyes you'd ever want to see! Her markings are beautiful, as well, and her ears are just to die for! With her loving, playful personality and her gorgeous eyes and markings, she is the perfect companion for any family or owner! We think, full-grown, YIP will probably weigh in the 45 lb. range.
Her best traits are: outgoing, sociable, playful, full of love and personality! YIP is a very confident little pup who never meets a stranger. She loves to play with other dogs, or with her toys and truly adores going on walks with her foster family. If you're looking for a doggie with a super temperment, you won't find one better than little YIP!
YIP's ideal family would be one with kids, other dogs, and someone who enjoys being active, and doing outdoor activities. The good news with YIP is she's equally okay after playtime is over to just be by your side, chilling out and snuggling with her humans - she's okay either way, just as long as she can spend time and get love and attention from her human family. Due to YIP's energy level and size at adulthood, she would not do well in an apartment but would love having a fenced-in, secure backyard to run around in and play and someone who will take her for walks on a secure leash.
