Cheer for the Cure Event at Johns Creek High School

The Johns Creek High School Varsity and Junior Varsity cheerleaders are sponsoring a CHEER FOR THE CURE event on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the JCHS Varsity Football Game, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The goal is to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta Foundation for breast cancer research and to provide awareness to the public at large.

Chick-Fil-A, a major sponsor, will be doing its share to help raise money in the days leading up to the Cheer for the Cure event. The Chick-Fil-A at Alpharetta Commons on State Bridge Road will be "going pink" from October 15 through October 19. When customers purchase a pink Icedream cup or cone during that time, Chick-Fil-A will donate 20% of the purchase price to the Johns Creek High School cheerleaders' Cheer for the Cure fundraiser.
