Annual Ladies' Night Out Provides Free Health Screenings
Emory Johns Creek Hospital's event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Next month, Emory Johns Creek Hospital will host its annual Ladies’ Night Out event devoted to women’s health.
Free health screenings will be offered to women including: glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure and body mass index during the event, which is slated for 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at the hospital.
Clinicians will also be on hand to educate women about breast health, cardiovascular disease and signs of stroke and heart attacks.

Jennifer Graham, NP, Emory Heart and Vascular Center; Maria Piraner, MD, diagnostic radiologist, director of the Center for Breast Care at EJCH; and Patricia Yugueros, MD, chief of plastic surgery at EJCH, and will hold a panel discussion about trends in women’s health at 6 p.m.
Doors will open to the Ladies’ Night Out event at 6:30 p.m.

Emory Johns Creek Hospital CEO Marilyn Margolis says women will receive valuable health information at this event.
“I encourage women of all ages in the community to take advantage of these free health screenings,” she added. “These screenings help women get to know their numbers and become more aware of their current health status, at no cost to them.”
Women will also have a chance to visit retail booths offering chair massages, beauty tips and enter drawings for raffle prizes. Light refreshments and dessert will be served.
EJCH partners with Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties and Alcon to make this event possible.
