Autrey Mill Middle Student Appointed To State Advisory Council
Luke Michaelis joins two other Fulton County Schools students who will serve on the 108-member council.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Three students in the Fulton County School System have been tapped to serve on the State Superintendent’s 2016-2017 Student Advisory Council.
Veena Jaipradeep, a senior at Milton High School, has been selected to serve on the Student Advisory Council for a second year.
She joins Westlake High School’s Jonathan Johnson and Autrey Mill Middle School’s Luke Michaelis, who were also chosen.

Throughout the school year, these students will join State Superintendent Woods and a group of 108 students statewide to discuss the impact of policies in the classroom.
Members of the Student Advisory Council also will be invited to discuss other issues related to education and serve as the Superintendent’s ambassadors to their respective schools.
