Autrey Mill Nature Preserve To Host Wild Weekend
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Autrey Mill Nature Preserve is inviting residents and visitors to take a walk on the wild side with its annual family-friendly Wild Weekend. Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, Wild Weekend will include a variety of games, activities and nature crafts.
Farmer Sue from the Art Barn will be on hand with her barnyard critters, and the popular Bubble Creation Station will draw attention to the wonderment of bubbles in nature. Creature Features will introduce visitors to an amazing array of reptiles, while the What’s Bugging You? station will highlight beneficial bugs like butterflies, ladybugs and the praying mantis.
The event also welcomes Ken Barr and his students to Autrey Mill. Barr's students will play acoustic sets on the hour. There is no pre-registration for this event and the fee per guest is $10 — or $5 with an Autrey Mill Family Level Membership.

From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. April 28, adults are invited to attend the Butterflies, Botanicals, and All Things Wild About Autrey Mill fundraiser. You can expect a wide variety of local food and beverages, entertainment including a live band, a silent auction, and much more. The cost is $25 per person and tickets are limited.
Ticket price includes entry to the event, dinner and desserts from local establishments, an assortment of beverages, and two beer/wine tickets. A cash bar will be available. Money raised by the event will help expand educational programming and services, add animal ambassadors to Autrey Mill's collection and much more.
