Autrey Mill Offers Watershed Chemical Monitoring Workshop

This hands-on training about stream sampling and monitoring will teach participants about chemical sampling techniques and watershed issues.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Autrey Mill Nature Preserve is offering a Chemical Monitoring Workshop on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

This hands-on training about stream sampling and monitoring will teach participants about chemical sampling techniques and watershed issues. Following the training, participants will be certified by the Georgia Adopt-A-Stream program for chemical monitoring.

The workshop is open to participants 11-years-old and up. However, participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult registrant. These events are free for Autrey Mill Members or $5 for all other participants.

In the event of rain, all outdoor activities can be conducted inside or under a pavilion cover.
