Autrey Mill Welcomes Harm n' Me n' Him in August
On Saturday, Aug. 15, Autrey Mill Unplugged will host another great night of live music in a historic (but air conditioned) setting.

Once a month, Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center, a beautiful not-for-profit park right in Johns Creek, makes a magical transformation into a beautiful concert setting, to host our Unplugged series, featuring offering intimate concerts inside the (air conditioned) Old Warsaw Church by some of the Atlanta area’s finest musicians. Gorgeous park setting, an intimate, candlelit concert environment, wonderful acoustics and a chance to make a difference by helping to support this beautiful place that is Autrey Mill- come on out!
After seven months in a row of sold out and nearly sold out magical shows, Autrey Mill Unplugged is so excited to welcome to our stage, local favorites,“Harm n’ Me n’ Him”, on Saturday, August 15. Tickets are $15, or $10.50 for Autrey Mill members or John’s Creek residents. Seats are limited, so please purchase your tickets early by going to: http://www.autreymill.org/performances.htm.
The festivities begin at 7PM with a pre-show social gathering in the Summerour House, with complimentary refreshments and wine and beer for purchase, then walk next door to the Old Warsaw Church for the concert at 8PM.

About “Harm ‘n Me ‘n Him”:
The acoustic trio of Harmon Koeltz, Laura Monk and Michael Carthon bring with them an eclectic musical background and a collection of well loved (and not the same old often heard) tunes.
With graceful harmonies, unique guitar stylings delivered on a solid bass platform Harm ‘n Me ‘n Him delivers a menagerie of songs ranging from old standards to current hits; covering a unique mix of genres including pop, jazz, rock, Americana, folk and classics. While you won’t hear Mozart(unless a child requests Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!) don’t be surprised if a little Ella Fitzgerald turns up right after The Lumineers.
This little band started as a duo with Harmon and Laura and was known as Harm ‘n Me...focusing on rich harmonies and acoustic guitars it seemed like a great play on words, but something was missing....we finally found it when we found Mike and his double bass...and that is how we got “Him”!
Laura, an Atlanta native, and singer-songwriter plays acoustic guitar and deems herself the official rhythm girl! Having performed with her own band, Renaissance festivals, and other bands over the years she brings a love of singing and all genres to this musical journey. Laura’s passionate vocal delivery brings songs to life and draws the listener right in to the musical story. Having lived in Johns Creek since 1975 she has watched Autrey Mill Nature Preserve grow and blossom. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to sing in the old Warsaw Church that she passed by almost everyday. Photos for her CD, So Far, were all taken at the preserve!
Harmon, originally from Louisville, Ky, but here in Atlanta since ‘61 (honorary native) is no stranger to the Atlanta music scene. Harmon has been playing and singing with the group Harm’s Way for over 15 years and before that with many Atlanta bands. His strong, pure vocals and clever interpretations on guitar are what set this trio apart from other groups. Originally a drummer- no vocals, he made his vocal debut while drumming at a local watering hole just singing along from behind the kit. Once that mic was in front of him it stayed!
Mike, also an Atlanta native, is a classically trained Double Bassist from the University of Georgia. Whether he is using a big bow for the big “fiddle” or plucking or slapping those strings he makes those deep tones that reach right into your musical soul. He has performed with several Symphony Orchestras in the southeast. Mike enjoys performing Christian Rock, Jazz, Folk, Blues as well as Rock and World Music. He is married to his lovely wife Jymbellyn who is also a drummer in one of his bands.
All 3 have a wealth of musical experience in performance.
